چکیده
Nanoscience coupled with nanotechnology emerged as possible cost-cutting approach to prodigal farming and environmental clean-up operations. Hence there is a need for more innovative fertilizer that can increase the productivity of agricultural systems friendly than synthetic fertilizers. The trial was laid out in randomized complete block design 11 treatments three replications. field experiment carried at Main Agricultural Research Station, University Sciences, Raichur during Kharif seasons 2019 2020. In this research, we studied recent development potential benefits derived from use nanofertilizers (NFs) modern agriculture. Nanofertilizers facilitate slow steady release nutrients, thereby reduce loss nutrients enhance nutrient efficiency. present study, such IFFCO nanonitrogen (nano N), nanocopper Cu), nanozinc Zn) sagarika were sprayed maize crop different combinations recommended dose Among fertilizers treatment T11 [50% N, 100% PK, 0% Zinc + 2 sprays nano N (4ml/l) mixed Sagarika (2 ml/l)] showed significant effect on growth yield parameters maximum 58.90 q/ha highest B:C 2.99. Whereas, T10 Zn ml/l) Cu (2ml/l)] found superior regard management Turcicum leaf blight disease minimum 18.20 per cent severity.

Management of Turcicum Leaf Blight of Maize Caused by Exserohilum Turcicum in Maize
Seven fungicides were evaluated in vitro against Exserohilum turcicum causing leaf blight of maize The treatment mancozeb 0.25% and combination treatments of carbendazim and mancozeb i.e. saff 0.25% recorded the lowest percent disease index (PDI) reducing the disease by 73.0% and 72.1% respectively. The treatment which had a combination metriram + pyraclostrobin i.e. cabriotop 0.3% was found to...

Turcicum Leaf Blight Resistance in Maize: Field Screening of New Inbreds and Hybrids
This paper presents identification of sources of Turcicum Leaf Blight (TLB) resistance in maize. Maize is affected by more than 60 diseases, of which 16 are major ones. TLB, caused by E. turcicum, is considered a serious disease where climatic conditions are cool with high relative humidity. Severe losses in grain yield ranging from 25 to 90 per cent have been reported in India. Seventy two hyb...

Intercropping systems compared to monoculture systems can more efficiently use the existing resources which ultimately will lead to increased plant performance. Therefore, to evaluate the benefits of intercropping maize and beans and assess its impact on yield and yield’s component, an experiment was conducted in factorial design with randomized complete block design in three replication, in 20...
